How to Disable Common Chat Window in Yahoo Messenger 11 I want help to disable tab messaging in Yahoo Messenger 11. Whenever some chat with me all message appear in a single tab windows. This is very irritating. It became a bit tough to find who is replying instantly and many time the message is ignored. I need option to disable this completely. I tried to re-install the same but nothing worked out. Thanks. You can disable that by the following way. Launch Yahoo Messenger and Sign In Click on Preferences > Messages > Check Show the messages in separate windows. Then go to Miscellaneous section below > Also uncheck Open new Message. One done then check again. Every time the message will appear in different chat window Reply With Quote
