4GB DDR3 modules soon?

Section Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced having received certification of Intel chips for its 2 Gb (or 256 MB), presented in early October on Core configurations i7

Little reminder, these chips, engraved in 50 nm will get 4 GB modules (16 chips using 256 MB). Intel has also endorsed such a module Samsung DDR3-1066 MHz transition. Not wrath of war Overclockers then, but otherwise fill the 6 slots proposed by some X58 motherboards and get 24 GB of RAM in passing.

The DDR3 chips can reach a density of 8 Gb from Samsung, there is still margin! According to a market survey, the Korean founder expects that DDR3 steals 29% of it in 2009, and 72% in 2011. Regarding chips 2 Gb, they see their sales increase by 3% in 2009 to 33% in 2011.
