FIFA 12 crashes while using the joystick
I liked all additions of FIFA and love to play the recently I have downloaded the demo version of FIFA 12 and when I try to start it its crashes after loading screen on my pc. But when I plug out my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick. Ever thing works fine does anyone know what the problem is I am using i7 2600 3.4 GHz with Asus HD 6970 2 gb/256 bit card and also I want to know can everyone here able to log in to their EA account as I am facing some difficulties regarding this

Well that an odd defect as I was planning to download the demo version for my PC now I like to play it with my joystick instead of key board as I am not comfortable and don’t want to smack my keyboard so can anyone here will like to tell me whether it’s true that game has bug regarding joystick

Yes its true the demo is crashing on the welcome FIFA 12 screen you must unplug your generic controller FIFA 12 as its doesn’t support generic controllers

Ok I have found the fix may be this can solve the issue if you are using generic controllers then follow this

• Go to start run then press the Windows button + R and write Regedit
• On that just browse to folloing path
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/MediaProperties/PrivateProperties/Joystick/OEM
• And there some of the three folders you should see a file called OEM Name right click and modify Rename USB Gamepad to Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2
• After that download this Xbox 360 controller files and put on them in your main FIFA 12 Demo folder ( you need to Google those files)

May be this works just check it and reply

Don’t like to mess with registry editor so be careful before using this option I would rather use keyboard that messing with my computer
