Need info on Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter

Need info on Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter
I felt that the concept of the city of Neverwinter was too much used in other areas of D & D and NWN 1 and 2, Baldur Gate series, PC games - that was my first thought. Although it is well with the city itself, Neverwinter, however, I do not like the idea that all people. begin at the same location as it is an MMO. You must decide where to start in what kind of career that the player decided to play at the beginning of the game. The main problem you want to start playing in different places with some conflicts between the races to anticipate. And why drow race / duergar found on earth? Are you going to harass the inhabitants of the area on the outskirts of Waterdeep, villages, cities, near the Sword Coast? Well, you better have a valid reason, and it's something to think about. The main argument to be in depth with several options for the alignment problem. Alignment in D & D is essential and should be a set of strict rules about the laws into chaos, and neutrality, the characters good and evil, and the action that the protagonist is of vital importance in the game. First, if you decide to create a drow character rather be completely disappointed bad start in the city of Neverwinter. I like that you can experience something unique to your game that attract millions of players around the world.

When one of my old friends, Bruenor battle hammer, decides to spend his last days in search of the legendary kingdom Gauntlgrym dwarf, Drizzt easily agree. But before Bruenor Drizzt and even closer to finding the lost city, the dwarf Athrogate murderer, black, widow Dahlia elf Drizzt and Jarlaxle faces old nemesis at first. In his pursuit of wealth and magic, the three treasure hunters unwittingly set in motion a catastrophe that could spell disaster for people who do not suspect the city of Neverwinter, a catastrophe large enough to establish even the mercenary Jarlaxle in risking their own money and the skin to stop it. Unfortunately, the more you discover about the secret of Gauntlgrym, most can not seem to stop the impending disaster on their own. They need help, and the last people ever thought to fight side by side: Drizzt and Bruenor.

I agree with the above. Not to the point of including the Far East (I would see the game this decade), but have their own starting points based on race and / or class. Regardless of what the 4e allows, from a game is more interesting and make the policy, a sense of place / home, and varied gameplay fun. What this reminds me of all the different origin stories is the first in Dragon Age. People loved and played all backgrounds. Never thought about it, but the op opens my eyes to the possibility. If Cryptic can pull this off in the next year could be set in its own category Neverwinter for online fantasy games. In essence, the Dragon Age Origins multiplayer. With the rich tradition of the kingdoms that already have a solid foundation for the possibilities of origin and background. I'm usually more realistic when it comes to products of production, but in this case I'd say Cryptic should aim for the stars. I have Heroes and Neverwinter Nights 2 Neverwinter to keep me occupied while applying Origen.

The reason we're all staring at the same place because they were called to protect the remains of the city of Neverwinter after the death of the Lord of Neverwinter and the destruction of the city itself. We are there to protect people Neverwinter reconstruction and to investigate the strange things we found several plots abound as to stop the reconstruction of Neverwinter, you will probably stop some Ashmadai, Netheril, Thayans, or perhaps even the henchmen themselves Szass Tam same.

I just hope they get rid of the idea of restrictions of gender / race and make the characters / art / appearance at least something like Neverwinter Nights.

My thoughts exactly. It should be feasible to have an instance for area players begin to tie in the form of race / class / alignment Neverwinter terminated character that could also double up as a mini tutorial (I've seen other MMOs do this).

I'd like to see a step beyond a single point. Probably not viable for cryptic as limited hours, but something more personal than a single point. A real origin story. Of course many people have the same origin story, but I think more like an introduction to the world of places and some people in this world. After the origin story the character is completed would be free to deviate from it or forget that the entire background. I see it more as a narrative of the game to set the world instead of all the characters that begins with the class and race have the same origin. It would be a kind of common history or origin which may be typical of a region (but not the only story.)I guess for me it would add some narrative and storytelling in a world that is usually around masses of people who seek their life to be a story based on his actions and challenges to overcome (which is often more for the environment). Cryptic I do not think should be afraid of getting in and out of segments of the story harder to give the world a more generic sense as DDO and others. Type of short episodes that interrupt the randomness of the expansive world and focus on specific stories that are more about the place of the hero in the world, or NPCs in the world, rather than the environment or fierce battle is the hero.

Racial starting points are a convention classic online whether or not a reasonable ideal of Neverwinter. Ever Quest, LotRO, and others used this place as a tutorial and create a springboard to bigger story. In a search that is important for the local community hero has to go to find a solution to a problem they are having.
