Getting black and choppy map in A game of Thrones: Genesis
Hello I have installed the A game of Thrones: Genesis game on mine windows XP operating system. Everything on the system working fine without any issue but I have small issue on mine A game of Thrones: Genesis. Last night after installing the game I have launched game and I have found that the map is very black and choppy and I am not able to view the map properly. Now I don’t what to do and how to solve this issue, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

Run the game Compatible mode and after that make sure you’re getting the issue or not. Even I have gone through the issue and after that I run the game in compatible mode and after that I have solved mine issue and so I would like to suggest you this. To run the game on Compatible mode you need to go through the below steps: first make right click on the game exe file and after that select the properties. now on the properties go to the Compatible mode tab and under that make check mark on the run this program on the Compatible mode check box and after that select the windows 98 on the drop down button. Now once you done and after that save the setting and then let me know the issue.

Updated the all drivers and after that you will get rid this issue. To update the driver you can go to the official website of the manufacturer company or you can also install through the device manger. Try to updated the latest driver and then let me know the issue.

I think you have not installed the latest game version and so therefore you’re getting the issue and so I would like to suggest you to make sure you have already the latest game version from the main menu. If you have not installed the latest version of game then I would like to suggest you to reset the game and to do this open the windows explorer and under that locate to the game folder. Now on the game folder make right click on the Agot folder and then delete it. Now once you done and after that run the game.

I just installed the latest driver version 280.26 and restarted. Loaded the game and restart the computer. Then try playing again doing Agot delete the folder, but my computer just crashed again, the only way to get the load is to change the film to 0 in the xml folder. I hope this will help eliminate the problem.

A temporary solution I found is that to make the map black disappears, is that every time you load the game go to Options, then change the graphics settings high. After restarting the game, and then set the graphic on your preferred. This should make black map disappear until they fix this problem with a patch. If this method does not work, please continue to hear that this is resolved and that everyone can enjoy this game.

Just follow the below steps and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. To do this you need to reboot the system and after that press F1 or DELETE key to open the BIOS windows. Now once you get the BIOS screen and under that Open Advanced Chipset Features and then Set the AGP Aperture Size (MB)/IGD Aperture Size/iGPU Memory to the maximum value (128M for example). Now once you done and after that just save the setting and run the game.

If above all solution not working to solve the issue and after that I would like to suggest you to make uninstall game and after that install it again. I hope this will help you to solve the issue.
