Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition Game freezing
Hello recently I have bought the Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition and I have installed on mine windows XP operating system. Everything on the system working fine without any issue but while playing the Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition game mine system game will freezes automatically. Now I don’t what to do and how to solve this issue, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

Try to run the Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition Game on the computable mode and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. To run the game on the computable mode you need to go through the below steps: first make right click on the game launching file i.e. exe file and after that select the properties. now on the properties go to the computable mode tab and under that make check mark on the run this program on the computable mode check box and after that select the windows 98 on the drop down box. Now once you done and after that start the game and then let me know the issue.

Make sure you have updated the DirectX on your system and after that let me know the issue. as per here you need to updated the DirectX to 9.0 and so therefore make sure you have updated the system DirectX to latest version that is 9.0 and after that let me know the issue.

The issue sound like you have issue on the virus and so therefore I would like to suggest you to make scan on your system with the good antivirus and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. If your system infected with the virus and then your system will start freezing and so therefore its necessary to remove the virus and so that you can solve your issue and so I would like to suggest you this and after that go through your issue.

Try to update the all driver on your system and after that make sure you’re getting the issue or not. To update the driver you need to go through the below steps: first make click on the start icon and after that click on the run. Now on the run type: devmgmt.msc and after that make click on the ok button. Now you will get the device manger and under that locate to the video driver and after that make right click on the video driver and after that select the updated driver. Now once you updated the video driver and in the same way updated the display driver and after that reboot the system and then make sure your getting the issue or not.

If above all solution not working to solve the issue and after that I would like to suggest you to make uninstall the Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition Game and after that install it gain and after that you can solve your issue. I think there is something wrong with your game and so therefore I would like to suggest you to reinstall the game and after that you can solve your issue.
