Can i play xbox live on dsl?
Hello friends,
I have Xbox 360 and i love playing that. Some of my friends have high speed internet connections and i get problem connecting to them. I have DSL connection. Can i play xbox 360 on DSL? Someone came across any problems using DSL on Xbox 360?

Yes you can connect Xbox 360 to your DSL connection. Just connect an ethernet wire to the xbox and the modem. Then Press reset button. Restart it after few minutes and you can go live. You will also need to set the username/password and connection settings on the xbox360 configuration page in the manual for network settings.

Xbox 360 need only 256k upload and 512k download speed. So you can go for DSL and connect Xox 360 live. You can test your internet connection speed at speedtest.net. According to me, if you don't want lag when playing high resolution games, you must go for high speed internet for great gaming experience.

DSl connection is fine, it is quick to get connected to xbox live. The lagging is depends on the quality of the telephone line and cable. If you have any neighbor using DSL line, you can test it on their connection. Go for high speed package if you want lag free or less lag while playing.
