I think the problem is with your Dial up connection. Create a new Dial up connection and set it as default. Do not select dial whenever the connection is not present. Try this. Go to internet option in control panel. Go to connection and click on setup. Follow the wizard and create a new dial up connection. Then tick that Always use my default connection.

The problem is due to the TCP/IP thing. This protocol controls the network features in windows. It is basically designed for Local Area Network. If you disable it or uninstall it then your problem can be solved. Click on Start Menu and open Control Panel. Then go to Network Connections. Double click it and double click on the Local area connection. In the General tab click on Properties. Scroll below to TCP/IP remove the tick from that. Restart your system.

Try to update your network driver. This can be due to a corrupt network card also. First try to update the drive and then change the network card if problem persist. Right click on My Computer and the click on Properties. Go to Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. Right click on network adapter and click on uninstall. Restart your system. Windows will install it back again.
