Quote:
Faulting application IEplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.3180 , faulting module ieframe.dll,
version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000de7c8.
I am getting the above error message on one of my computers whenever the it is not in use for a longer period of time. I have researched and googled a lot for this but didn't got any solution. I tried register cleaners but the problem still reappears. Can anyone help to fix IE6 faulting module problem?

1. Could be incompatible add-ons installed on your computer which is crashing your IE. Remove them and see if this solves the problem.
2. Could be some virus or adware which corrupted your internet explorer registry. I would recommend you to install or upgrade your Internet Explorer from Windows CD. Also scan your computer from a good antivirus. Refer: How to reinstall or repair Internet Explorer in Windows XP for more information.

Reset your Internet Explorer:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click on Tools and then Internet Options.
3. Click on the Advanced tab.
4. Click on the Reset button.
5. Click on Reset button once again to confirm the reset.
6. Click on Close and then OK. (You may need to restart Internet Explorer for changes to take effect.)

Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools -> Internet Options. Now click the Security tab. Select the Restricted Sites icon, then click the Sites button. Check to see if you have websites listed under the restricted sites. Simply empty this list.
