Re: How to send encrypted email?
Which email client you are using? Its depends on the email service you are using.

If you are using Outlook then :

1. In the message, on the Message tab, in the Options group on the ribbon, click the Encrypt Message Contents and Attachments button Encrypt message and attachment.

Note If you don't see this button, click the Options Dialog Box Launcher in the lower right corner of the group to open the Message Options dialog box. Click the Security Settings button and in the Security Properties dialog box, select Encrypt message contents and attachments. Click OK and then close the Message Options dialog box.

2. Compose your message and send it.

If you are using Firefox then get this Gmail S/MIME extension

With the Gmail S/MIME extension, you can send and receive signed and encrypted S/MIME messages in Gmail. Secure your e-mail today, including your attachments! Version 0.4.2 inter-operates with every S/MIME-capable mail client including Microsoft Outlook (2000-2007), Microsoft Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Apple Mail.app, and now works with Firefox 3.5 and the latest versions of Gmail.
