Remake & Remaster in games, are they different?
‘Remake’ & ‘Remaster’ are completely different terms. By Remake, we mean that only the concept remains the same while the content is changed. By Remaster, we mean that everything is same except for few bits that are changed.

Re: Remake & Remaster in games, are they different?
Wolf was a First person shooter made in 1994 which worked on DOS operating system. It was remade in 2009 by the name Wolfenstein. The basic concept of the game was similar. The player has to defeat Nazis and foil their evil plans. But in the 2009 version, the graphics, sound & Gameplay was totally different as compared to 1994 version.
Serious Sam: The first encounter was a first person shooter game released in year 2001 which was again remastered and released in year 2009 by the name Serious Sam HD: the first encounter. In this both games the gameplay was completely same, no difference. The only difference was that when released again in 2009, it had high end graphics which were absent in 2001 version.

If this same is considered in hindi movies than Agneepath released in 2012 is remake of Agneepath released in 1990. Same concept but different actors and different scenario. While Mughal-e-Azam is remastered version, as it was originally made in Black and White, released in color version.
