Silent Hill: Downpour first impression
I know that there are a lot of people who are getting this game today. I am not in that list but thinking to get that soon. Before this, I want to listen from the people that what is the first impression of the game to them and what the features are that attracts them the most.

Overall, I liked the game. The game also manages to preserve a foreboding atmosphere. This is different from "Downpour". Any time you can be attacked, you're never sure. But it is particularly unpleasant when the eponymous rain pours through Silent Hill. Then deteriorates your through the series' trademark fog anyway very limited view again and more and more monsters roam the streets since we can move almost freely through Silent Hill.

Re: Silent Hill: Downpour first impression
After just about every innovation in recent years, the series led away further and further from its origins. The first parts of Silent Hill can be much freer to explore again. Thus we find around the beginning of the game, a painting, for which we have no use. Only when we stumble accidentally into the abandoned home of an art collector, who seems obsessed extort the owners of the painting is revealed to us that we can assemble the paintings on a map. Such tasks you can show some shortcuts through the city. This is all completely optional and can be ignored even if you are only interested in the story. There has been "Vatra" for a similar procedure as Silent Hill 2 and decided to ignore the story of Harry Mason Alessa and the cult and focuses entirely.

Re: Silent Hill: Downpour first impression
"Silent Hill: Downpour" seems to do right except a few things. Downpour revolves around a certain Murphy Pendleton. He is together with some other prisoners transported in a truck, and when they drive by Silent Hill then flies the vehicle of the job. What a mistake, the region of Silent Hill where he ends up has never been addressed in the franchise, so that promises to yield many surprises. Besides the main story there will be some side quests in the game which are present, but I know it is not fine.

The creators are certainly planning to set back to his roots to bring. That also means that the mysterious other worlds will be back in action. Fans will also appreciate that there are occasional minor references to previous games in the game.

Downpour will also fight as usual alternating with different environmental puzzles. The puzzles have different levels of difficulty to suit all tastes. Many puzzles revolve around the search for objects and get all kinds of switches. Actually there is also a third pillar where the game supports, the psychological aspect. What I feared was the stage for all later reality: a corridor that was getting longer and is I stepped through it then I could not escape.

The survival horror game would not be if you could not care must deal with firearms at your disposal. The soundtrack of the game is composed by Daniel Light, who is best known for his music in the popular series Dexter. And he is not the only music known to the party. The metal band Korn will be the theme song of Downpour worry. It is the first Silent Hill game that is not composed by Akira Yamaoka. I hope it ends well...

The new game Silent Hill: Downpour puts you in the role of prisoner Murphy Pendleton. That's where the hell actually, because you have no idea who that person really is. he atmosphere in Downpour a bit like Resident Evil 4. In the heat of battle he has a good melee weapon to find the opportunities that could possibly return to him. While I was beaten to the run run people over, I can pick up a knife that someone certainly dropped.

The absence of strong weapons gives you the feeling that you need to survive in a hostile and bleak world and not kill as many enemies as you can. The fight itself would get a little smoother may, since I only have a handful of fighting animations. It would be a good move with the weapons and other means to survive and this is the route by wandering off and exploring yourself. This is on your own risk of course, because I cannot promise safety. Nevertheless, my first impressions were anything but negative. I hope that they will make it better next time.

I have not played the game but have seen the video of the game. The video gives me the impression that the game in terms of atmosphere and fighting looks more like a sick & twisted Alan Wake on Resident Evil 4.
