Windows live hotmail is so slow
I have upgraded my MSN Hotmail to Windows Live just couple of weeks ago. I know i did it very late but doesn't matters. I feel that Windows Live mail is much slower as compared to MSN Hotmail. Is this happening with every one or just me? My internet browser is IE7, FYI.Why is the Windows live Hotmail is so slow ?

The problem is with every Windows live hotmail user. Considerably slower than Gmail or even the previous Hotmail. But according to Windowslivehelp, it is the cause of corrupted internet browser. They recommend to optimize your browser settings to fix this problem. To optimize Internet Explorer 7, just go through this simple steps:-

To determine whether a performance issue or an error message is caused by corruption in the temporary Internet files or in other cached information that is used by Internet Explorer 7, you must clear cached data. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer 7.
2. Click Tools, and then click Delete Browsing History.
3. In Delete Browsing History, click Delete All.
4. Click to select the Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons check box, and then click OK.


If you configure security settings to be too restrictive, you may prevent Internet Explorer 7 from displaying certain Web sites. To determine whether an issue is caused by overly restrictive security settings, revert to default security settings. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer 7.
2. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
3. Click the Security tab.
4. Click Reset all zones to default level, and then click OK.

The solution i can suggest you is if you are not aware of 2GB mail space than just revert back to MSN Hotmail. Open Windows live with your userID and password and click on Options on the top right corner. To revert, click on “Switch to MSN Hotmail”. In the Switch Back page, confirm by clicking on Switch back button. And you’re back to original MSN Hotmail.

Classic MSN wasn 't the only bitter pill the development team had to swallow. Even in the full version, it appeared that many customers wanted to select messages using check boxes rather than a mouse click or typing shortcut, much to the despair of Microsoft's programmers.
