Getting sounds when opening any site on web browser
Whenever I open my web browser and type in some address such as google.com, my computer makes some waterdrop noise. I am getting this sound from quiet a long time and it irritates me a lot. What is the reason behind this?

Are you using your computer in the bathroom?

Go to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab - Uncheck "Enable third-party Browser Helper Objects" or something similar depending on your Windows and IE versions

Restart the browser.

It is because of popup blocker which is making the sound. If you are using IE then go to Tools -> Popup Blocker -> Popup Blocker Settings -> Uncheck "Play sound when popup is blocked"

Also it could be because of some toolbar installed on your system. Check their settings too.

It could be some softwares such as McAfee Virus Scan causing you this problem. Just see their settings and disable them.
