IE 8 Error : The file could not be written

IE 8 Error : The file could not be written
Hi,

I am trying to download past invoices in IE 8. Until I try to save it. Then I get "Error saving the document Untitled1: Write Error. The file could not be written." on my mac pc. The only option I have is to click "Ok" which causes the message to close and leaves me right back where I started.

When users click on links, select "save target as" generates. The following error message in Internet Explorer 8: "The file could not be written to the cache" Clicking on the link and selecting "Save" in the resulting dialog generates: "Internet Explorer can not open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or can not be found please try again later " but you will find that this page works fine in Mozilla

Try IE 8, in IE8 without add-ons mode:

1. Click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without add-ons;
or

2. Start> (All)> Programs Accessories> System Tools> Internet Explorer (No supplements).

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Shut down the computer and verify that all internal ATA (IDE) devices are properly installed.
2. Check for proper master/slave settings when applicable.
3. Check to see that data and power cables are firmly connected for ATA devices.
